Abstrakty

This publication is dedicated to technical analysis. It provides a synthesis of knowledge about what research has been done to assess the effectiveness of various methods of technical analysis. In these studies, there are two periods, namely 1987 and the period after this year. This division is associated with the use of advanced statistical methods to assess the significance of the obtained results and the elimination of errors of inference, especially the adoption of improper distribution. Analyzed studies indicate the existence of a number of technical analysis methods that are effective, however, changing the characteristics of the markets concerned, causes a decrease in their effectiveness or even the lack of time.(original abstract)
