The article analyzes the resilience capacity of the Silesian conurbation. It mentions that the analysis has been made on the basis of regional documents, interviews with key regional actors representing local authorities and the company of three sectors of the economy. It presents conclusions of research concerning regional cooperation between actors, its directions and opportunities in building knowledge region.(original abstract)
