The expansion of European Union (EU) toward Eastern countries opened new business opportunities for firms which seek to expand their international activities. Liberalized trade patterns of the member countries support widely unrestrained cross-border flows tangible and intangible assets between affiliated units of an internationalized firm which take advantage of each country's local environment. Conventional internationalization theories are mostly based on linear idea of time; that is, the models consist of several identifiable and distinct successive stages. A higher stage of international activities indicated a greater foreign involvement. International business is not necessarily a forward directed linear approach, this paper evaluates dynamic aspects of FDI.
