Abstrakty

Certyfikowany system zarządzania jakością ISO 9001 powinien być utrzymywany oraz doskonalony. Bardzo duży wpływ na skuteczność działań z tego zakresu wywierają przedstawiciele kierownictwa. Poniższy artykuł prezentuje wyniki badań dotyczących problemów z jakimi spotykają się oni w swojej pracy. Na podstawie odpowiedzi uzyskanych z 97 funkcjonujących w Polsce organizacji stwierdzono, że przedstawiciele kierownictwa uznają, iż dobrze znają problemy występujące w ich organizacjach, wiedzą też z jakich powodów te problemy się pojawiały. Są przekonani ponadto o tym, że znają odpowiednie metody, dzięki którym można byłoby sobie z tymi problemami poradzić. Jednak otrzymują oni zbyt małe wsparcie zarówno ze strony kierownictwa (wyższego i średniego szczebla), jak i wszystkich pracowników zatrudnionych w organizacji. Dodatkowo uważają, iż nie dysponują odpowiednimi środkami(finansowymi, technicznymi, itp.). (abstrakt oryginalny)

Every certified system of quality management should be maintained and improved. The efficacy of such measures relies significantly on the management representative's competence. This article is intended to present the results of a survey on the problems faced by management representatives in this respect. The respondents were management representatives from 97 Polish organisations (both private businesses and public institutions), who universally claimed to be perfectly familiar with the problems occurring within their organisations and well aware of their causes. Moreover, they declared to have the knowledge of the methods that could be used to overcome such problems. However, they complained of insufficient support from the top and middle management as well as from the organisation's staff in general. Another problem pointed out was the restricted resources (financial, technical and organisational) that the organisations had at their disposal. (original abstract)
