Abstrakty
The aim of this article was to find out if the percentage of saving for old age in the countries with more generous pension system is lower than in other countries. The analysis (based mainly on ecological correlations) suggest that there is negative correlation between generosity of pension system and the percentage of saving for old age as far as the pension replacement rate is considered. For other aspects of pension system generosity results was mixed and dependent on the applied measure of generosity. (original abstract)
