(fragment tekstu)

This article presents a conceptual model of determinants of fertility and labor supply of men and women, integrating the various concepts presented in a rich literature on the subject. We interconnected a role of personal preferences and predispositions of men and women, their past experience, economic, cultural and structural conditions as well as biological conditions of fertility. We underlined issues requiring further research. Particular attention was given to show the relationships between the different conditions of fertility and labour supply decisions of men and women and the roads (ways) of the impact of family and employment policy instruments on these decisions.
