W artykule przedstawiono niektóre problemy związane ze stosowaniem techniki w opracowywaniu informacji na potrzeby systemu informacyjno-decyzyjnego. Zwrócono tu uwagę między innymi na następujące zagadnienia; skutki rosnącego zapotrzebowania na informacje, opracowywanie informacji opartych o dane nieliczbowe oraz strukturę czasu i kosztów opracowywania informacji w wybranych grupach zawodowych. Efficiency of the process of making decisions essentially influences the quality of system of management. Since making of a correct decision requires adequate knowledge therefore the increasing demand for information and the increasing requirements concerning the functioning of information systems are well-founded. Some of the problems connected with the subject in question have been discussed more carefully i.e.: influence of the demand for information, significance and advantages of application of technical devices to working out the information based on the non-numerical data, time and cost structure of working out various kinds of information in the chosen professional groups with a special regard to the problem of shaping of work efficiency of the managerial staff.
