Paper aims in assessment the level of social capital of members of the local action groups in order to determine whether and to what extent the LEADER program has succeeded in accumulation the current social capital at the local level. Study is based on comparison of data of own survey conducted among 102 local action groups' (LAG) members and data from Social Diagnosis. The survey conducted confirms that the level of social capital among the persons actively involved in LAG activity can be considered higher than in population from control group. Also selected features of social capital were described. (original abstract)

Celem artykułu była ocena poziomu kapitału społecznego członków Lokalnych Grup Działania. Omówiono jaką rolę program Leader pełnił w procesie akumulacji kapitału społecznego na terenach wiejskich. Badania przeprowadzono wśród członków 102 Lokalnych Grup Działania.
