Abstrakty

Artykuł odnosi się do fenomenu proliferacji międzyregionalnych umów handlowych w ramach międzynarodowego reżimu handlowego. Duża część tych porozumień była i jest podpisywana między krajami rozwijającymi się, tworząc zinstytucjonalizowaną podstawę do rozwoju coraz bardziej kompleksowych relacji handlowych Południe-Południe. Są jednak i takie umowy międzyregionalne, które wynikają z konsekwentnie realizowanych strategii otwarcia na współpracę z krajami rozwiniętymi, co potwierdza siatka porozumień zawartych przez Chile. Umowa stowarzyszeniowa z Unią Europejską - omówiona w pierwszej części artykułu - ma więc także określone konsekwencje dla ewolucji wymiany handlowej tego kraju z Polską, co zostało przedstawione w drugiej części rozważań.(abstrakt oryginalny)

The article addresses the phenomenon of proliferating cross-regional trade agreements within the international trading regime. A significant share of these agreements was and still is signed between developing countries creating a legal and institutional framework for the development of the increasing complexity of South-South trade relations. However, among them there are also cross-regional agreements resulting from coherent strategies aimed at opening up national economies for cooperation with developed partners. This can be especially proved by the case of Chile and its RTA network. The association agreement with the European Union - covered in the first part of the paper - exerts thus a particular impact on the evolution of trade relations with Poland, which is the issue presented in the second part of the article.(original abstract)
