Abstrakty

Omówiono boloński model studiów oraz przedstawiono system punktów kredytowanych ECTS na przykładzie Uniwersytetu Warszawskiego. Zwrócono uwagę na mobilność studentów i kadry naukowej, a także na jakość kształcenia.

Signed by the higher education ministers of 29 European countries, the Bologna Declaration put in motion a process of integration and modernization of European systems of higher education (known as the Bologna Process). The project, which aims to set a European Higher Education Area by 2010 defined the catalogue of conditions to be fulfilled by European universities which wish to enter the European intellectual academic area and meet international competition on the market of educational services. These conditions include: two cycle studies, the ECTS system, comparable diplomas, increasing students' and lecturers' mobility, cooperation in quality assurance, developing life-long learning, linking education to scientific research, developing doctorate studies, and promoting the European dimension in learning and teaching. All of these elements, at varying degrees of completion, are being implemented at the University of Warsaw with a view to bringing the university closer to Europe. (original abstract)
