The paper looks at some aspects of the smali and medium enterprises in the wake of a probable recession in the US economy While the main focuses on the North American economy, the likely eflFects of a major recession on these firms are of a universal naturę and eąually concem companies in almost all countries. Some solutions that can be adopted to confront the eifects of a recession on smali and medium companies are also discussed in the paper.(original abstract)
