Artykuł o systemie emerytalnym Słowacji, poza wstępem, zawiera trzy części: 1. Rozwój historyczny systemu emerytalnego, 2. Stan obecny systemu emerytalnego oraz 3. Wyzwania i przewidywane zmiany w systemie emerytalnym. Celem badawczym autora jest prezentacja historycznych i aktualnych rozwiązań w systemie emerytalnym Słowacji w celu odnalezienia w tym systemie pomysłów, które w międzynarodowych porównaniach warto wykorzystywać. W podsumowaniu autor wskazuje, jako element wyróżniający słowacki system emerytalny na tle innych państw, bardzo wysoki udział kapitałowego filara emerytalnego w podziale zebranej składki emerytalnej.(abstrakt oryginalny)

The article presents an insight into the old age pension system in Slovakia. The introduction is followed by three topie paragraphs: 1. the historical development of its pension system, 2, the present situation, and 3. challenges and foreseen changes. There, the author's goal was to present both past and present solutions employed by the Slovakian's pension system, in search for ideas worth consideration in intemational comparisons. In the summary, the author highlights as a particular Slovak approach, the very high share of the capital pillar in the diverting of coUected pension contribution.(original abstract)
