This article provides a detailed analysis of IPO's (initial public offerings) in the various markets. It also examines changing trends in IPO and M&A in global markets. This example develops evidence of IPO activity and how capital markets responds to changing situation in the downturn economic times. The perspective is last 10 years of IPO and M&A activity and allocation of the funds throughout USA, Europe and emerging markets as Asia and Central Europe. It determines the factors that influence geographical change in the IPO funds structures that influence capital markets. This article also observes the role of venture capital/private equity in the field of US and Europe IPO and M&A. It investigates changes over past 10 years in venture capital activity on IPO markets in USA. (original abstract)
