The prime aim of this paper is to explore the common ground between the currently dominant entrepreneurship discourse, and the largely submerged discourse on cooperative action, in a context of local and regional development. While entrepreneurial theorizing has increased its claim to social relevance, cooperatives gradually suppressed the entrepreneurial dimension of their undertaking. The paper proposes to bridge the gap through positioning cooperatives as a component of the entrepreneurial field, and a restatement of entrepreneurial (evolutionary) theory that makes this conceptual operation feasible. Perceiving co-operatives as a species of evolving collective entrepreneurship opens for a variety of practical applications. (original abstract)

Głównym celem artykułu jest zbadania wspólnej podstawy dla współcześnie dominującego dyskursu o przedsiębiorczości i w znacznym stopniu nie tak popularnego dyskursu na temat spółdzielczego działania ujętego w kontekście rozwoju lokalnego i regionalnego. Podczas, gdy w teorii przedsiębiorczości rosło znaczenie pytania o społeczną rolę przedsiębiorczości, spółdzielnie stopniowo tłumiły przedsiębiorczy wymiar swoich przedsięwzięć. Artykuł proponuje, aby wypełnić tę lukę poprzez pozycjonowanie spółdzielni jako składnika obszaru przedsiębiorczości i przekształcenie (ewolucyjne) teorii przedsiębiorczości tak, że uczyni to taką koncepcyjną operację możliwą. Postrzeganie spółdzielczości jako rodzaju rozwijającej się kolektywnej (zbiorowej) przedsiębiorczości otwiera ją dla wielu różnorodnych zastosowań. (abstrakt oryginalny)
