Abstrakty
Tradycyjny model, według którego przedsiębiorstwa inwestowały w działy badawczo-rozwojowe, by sprostać wymogom wzrostu innowacyjności i zapewnić rozwój organizacji, podlega intensywnej erozji. Jest wiele przyczyn tego zjawiska, z których w tym miejscu można wskazać tylko na postępującą globalizację oraz rozwój technik komunikowania się i wymiany informacji. (fragment tekstu)

The goal of the paper is to make a review of the literature on open innovation and to compare strategic goals formulated for the Polish higher education organizations with the open innovation paradigm. In the first part of the paper a review of the literature is presented with a special emphasis on determinants of a successful open innovation implementation, economic benefits for corporations and challenges the open innovation paradigm formulates for corporations and other social partners. Then basic provisions from the strategy for the Polish higher education organizations are presented followed by an assessment of the prospects to implement open innovation paradigm in the Polish universities. It is argued here that in the strategy for Polish universities until 2020, open innovation issues are not adequately addressed. (original abstract)
