Omówiono rozwój nowoczesnych usług bankowych, istotę, rodzaje i korzyści z cash pooling oraz ograniczenia w zastosowaniu cash pooling.

With the increasing internationalisation of customer business the development of banking services becomes more and more important. Cash pooling is an efficient cash management tool combining decentralised account management, central coordination of the group's overall liquidity and an optimalisation of the interest result. The use of cash pooling as a global standard for concerning cash into the main bank account has very quickly found favour in Poland. On the other hand, there are some barriers for cash pooling development. First of all the concept of this contract is not mentioned in current Polish legislation. It is concluded under regulations of general part of Civil Code. Secondly, the transfer of cash between accounts can be treated by tax authorities as a loan. It makes cash pooling unprofitable. Thus before the company decides to implement cash pooling solution, t has to take a number of legal and tax issues into consideration. (original abstract)
