In this paper we present the analysis of the data gathered via in-depth interviews and participant observation among Polish migrant entrepreneurs between 2008 and 2010 in one of the biggest cities in Scotland. We use explanatory approach to our case study analysis. We present forms and dimensions of cooperation among Polish migrants and their social capital networks. We also attempt to outline ambiguous role of strong ties of social capital and the role of these ties for entrepreneurial process.(original abstract)
