Omówiono rodzaje funduszy sekurytyzacyjnych (F.S.) (standaryzowane i niestandaryzowane), specyfikę funkcjonowania funduszy, ich działalność, regulacje ostrożnościowe dotyczące funduszy oraz korzyści z funkcjonowania F.S. dla banków i podmiotów gospodarczych.

One of the most important innovation in Polish financial market can be announced the securitization fund. Financial institutions and businesses of all kinds use securitization funds to immediately realize the value of a cash-producing asset. Without any doubt, securitization funds involve several advantages for the companies, bank and the others. Securitization fund allows a bank to, essentially, sell on this exposure, and use the money for more profitable purposes. In practice, securitization companies improve asset/liability management. Securitization is an off-balance way of financing, and so incomes due to receivables do not have the same treatment as a debt in the balance-sheet. This option of getting the assets off the balance sheet, improving all management ratios, can be used to finance the business development or to reduce a more expensive financial debt. While the activity of the securitization funds can improve the efficiency of the financial system and lead to the financial risk reduction, the mentioned expansion of the specific securitization fund will contribute to increasing the private fixed income market. The main conclusion of the present paper is great necessity to promote the efficient growth and continued development of the securitization funds in Poland and throughout Europe. (original abstract)
