Niniejsza publikacja ma na celu scharakteryzowanie zagadnień teoretycznych prowadzących do zaproponowania autorskiej metody identyfikacji faz rozwoju obszaru turystycznego. Autor dokonuje dekompozycji krzywej dotyczącej liczby odwiedzających obszar turystyczny, a następnie określając punkty wspólne z innymi koncepcjami ewolucji obszaru turystycznego, wskazuje możliwość praktycznego wykorzystania zdobytej wiedzy.(fragment tekstu)

The article describes decomposition the curve of the visitors of the tourism area, and indicates the points in common with other concepts of the tourism area evolution. In this way, attempts to identify their practical use. The subject of this work is to characterize the theoretical issues underlying the proposed method of the identification of tourism area development phases.(original abstract)
