Abstrakty
Dziś jesteśmy świadkami wzrastającego zainteresowania problemem dyskryminacji kobiet w różnych dziedzinach życia, także w biznesie. Coraz częściej pojawią się postulaty wprowadzania parytetów oraz przytaczane są argumenty za zwiększaniem udziału kobiet w organach statutowych spółek. Niniejsze opracowanie wpisuje się w tę dyskusję, a jego celem jest opisanie korzyści wynikających z powoływania kobiet do rad nadzorczych i zarządów spółek, barier utrudniających zwiększenie ich roli w biznesie oraz wyników badań na temat udziału kobiet w organach statutowych spółek.(abstrakt oryginalny)

We are witnesses to the increasing debate about gender discrimination also in business. As a result there are announced demands of gender parity on boards and presented advantages of female board appointments. According to this the study examines the contribution of women directors to board effectiveness, the barriers in female appointments and the research results on women's presence on corporate boards.(original abstract)
