This paper makes an attempt to analyze and compare the organization structure and innovation practice of four foreign higher education institutions. The analysis of different practices gives us the possibility to learn and to adopt approaches which strengthen the innovation activities of Hungarian higher education institutions. Podjęto próbę analizy i porównania struktur organizacyjnych i procesów innowacyjnych czterech zagranicznych uczelni. Analiza różnych praktyk daje możliwość poznania i przyjęcia rozwiązań, które wzmocnią działania w zakresie innowacji w węgierskich uczelniach.
