Distance Learning: Classification of Approaches and Terms

The article describes the interpretation of the term "distance learning" in humanities and social sciences. The author notes that this phenomenon has more than a dozen definitions, and presents a classification of terms used in modern research and practice. Classification is based on possible approaches to learning process.(original abstract)
