Much empirical research has documented repeat visitation among tourists to popular destinations. The increasing attention in destination competitiveness has focused attention on destination attributes. Repeat visitors indicate that there is a stabilizing influence of satisfaction for most destinations. The purpose of this study was to focus on tourists to Jordan to identify the main motivational factors that attract them to that country. To cope with competitive chance, marketers and stockholders must strive to achieve balance between first-time visitors and repeat visitors. This is what the current study highlighted. A self-structure questionnaire survey (N = 261) was conducted in Jordan to collect the data from tourists visiting Jordan during the summer of 2011. (original abstract)
