Abstrakty
W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono pojęcie naukowości koncepcji ekonomicznych z punktu widzenia sensu empirycznego.
The author attempts to evaluate economic theories from the standpoint of their scientific character. He wants to answer the question whether economic theories acquire the scientific character throuhg the method of working them out or through the method of their verification. Three approaches to that problem have been presented: the attitudes of empiricism, apriorism, and critical rationalism. The evaluation of these attitudes was done after the selection of the rationality criterion satisfying the condition of self-adjustment. As a result of the carried out analysis of the problem it has been stated that an economic theory is scientific only when it is susceptible to falsification. It means that the scientific political economy method should comprise only the stage of the scientific discovery justification. (original abstract)
