Development and support of appropriate level of competitive advantage is a challenge for a firm. The problem is especially important for SMEs operating in the perfect competition market, with a lot of sellers marketing similar products. In such kind of competition SMEs can differentiate themselves by creating distinctive competitive advantage owing to the factor "Place" from a set of marketing-mix elements. SME should form Logistics Service System including logistics services providing added value for its current and prospective customers. This approach can provide logistics trump unreachable for its competitors. However the problem is to determine a priority of logistics services from a set suggested by SME for its customers. An effective approach to differentiate the services is a method of raters' evaluation considered in the paper. The aim of the paper is to propose a way of formation of the effective Logistics Service System for a small enterprise. Testing null-hypotheses and the formal method of experts' evaluation of survey data are used to elaborate the results of the research. The approach permits to get an order of priority for various logistics services from a set of services proposed by SME for its customers. It also allows us to get a quantitative evaluation of raters' opinions coincidence by computing a coefficient of concordance. (original abstract)
