The industrial cluster is an important issue in the context of globalisation. This paper intends to empirically make clear the situation and development of industrial cluster for the last decade on the example of the automotive cluster in Aichi prefecture of Japan. From the investigation, the globalisation does not force the hollowing-out of home cluster at the moment, but the internal structural change is actively led by the suppliers, rather than the assemblers.(original abstract)
