Abstrakty

W niniejszym artykule przeprowadzono analizę gdzie wyraźnie można zaznaczyć, iż w zjawisku stagflacji występują strukturalne w kapitaliźmie trudności reprodukcji.

The analysis of stagflation has been presented, which is a phenomenon characteristic of the contemporary capitalism, especially of the economically advanced capitalist countries in the seventies and the eighties. The notion of stagflation expresses, in general, the main macroeconomic problems which are experienced by capitalist countries, that is slower increase in output and national income, unemployment and inflation. These unfavourable tendencies have come to the force in the contemporary economy and the discussions presented in the world literature show various opinions as to the essence and reasons of those trends, In this connection, the author tries to explain this phenomenon basing on the methodology created by the eminent Polish economist, M. Kalecki. By means of showing the topicality and adequacy of the theory of growth, created by M. Kalecki, including the theories of business cycle and economic dynamics in capitalism, it has been proved that the present economic problems, commonly occurring in the capitalist world, are a real historical evidence of classical reproduction difficulties which are immanent in the capitalist economy.
