Abstrakty

Celem badania było zweryfikowanie efektywności programów szkoleniowych skierowanych do bezrobotnych na lokalnym rynku pracy, w szczególności do bezrobotnych mieszkańców wsi. Oszacowano model hazardu, aby zmierzyć wpływ szkolenia na długość czasu pozostawania w stanie bezrobocia. Aby uwzględnić potencjalne problemy wynikające z niewłaściwego doboru próby zastosowano metody dobierania. Szukano odpowiedzi na pytanie, czy udział w szkoleniu w sposób statystycznie istotny wpływa na prawdopodobieństwo przejścia ze stanu bezrobocia w stan zatrudnienia w krótszym i dłuższym okresie czasu. The aim of the study is to prove the effectiveness of training programs directed to the unemployed on the local labor market, especially to the unemployed in rural areas. We estimate a hazard model to assess the impact of training on the individual's unemployment duration. To take into account the potential sample selection problem we employ matching methods. The main question of this paper is whether the training significantly raises the transition rate from the unemployment into the employment state in the short and in the long run. (original abstract)
