The Effect of Beta Radiation on Density Dislocation in NaCl Monocrystals

Abstrakty
Oddziaływanie promieniowania jonizującego prowadzi do wielu zmian we właściwościach mechanicznych i optycznych materiałów naświetlanych. (fragment tekstu)
Ionic radiation leads to a number of changes in the mechanical and visual properties of irradiated materials. Mechanical properties of crystals depend to a great extent on density dislocation. The author has investigated changes in density dislocation in the monocrystals of NaCl irradiated with β rays. The author has found a decrease in density dislocation in the irradiated samples of NaCl monocrystals grown from the melt according to Kyropulos' method and increase in density dislocation in the samples of NaCl Harshaw monocrystals.
