Abstrakty

Traktując usługi sieciowe jako towar, trzeba opisać ich funkcjonalność oraz parametry jakościowe. Dzięki temu możliwe jest zautomatyzowane korzystanie z nich poprzez używanie odpowiednich metod programistycznych. Kwestia opisu usług, a w szczególności zagadnienie jakości usług sieciowych, jest jednym z wiodących tematów niniejszego opracowania. Zostało ono podzielone na sześć części. Zaprezentowano wpływ usług sieciowych na budowę systemów informatycznych. Pokazano też różne podejścia do opisu usług sieciowych. Dystrybucja usług sieciowych jest zagadnieniem bardzo ciekawym, a w miarę rozwoju i wzrostu popularności tej technologii pojawiają się coraz to nowsze sposoby na ich udostępnianie. W opracowaniu tym zostaną omówione modele biznesowe oferowania usług sieciowych, jakie najczęściej można spotkać w Internecie, a w szczególności idea elektronicznego rynku semantycznych usług sieciowych. W podsumowaniu zaprezentowane zostały ograniczenia i szanse stojące przed technologią Web services. (fragment tekstu)

Web services and service-oriented architecture are currently very popular and widely discussed research topics in the IT domain. Web services technology allows for easy separation of particular functionalities and provision of them via standard Internet protocols. Taking into account the development of an outsourcing and e-commerce, the features of Web services let us perceive them as another kind of good than can be traded in the Internet. This article presents an outline of the concept of quality of service, business models in the domain of Web services and an impact of this technology on approaches to information systems modeling. Challenges lying ahead of Web services, in order to fulfill their potential, are also mentioned. (original abstract)
