KAPPA-PC - based system enhancements offer tremendous benefits. In most organizations, developing and maintainig expert systems is expensive, time-consuming, and usually difficult. In the traditional way of bulding systems, one starts with the description of own business and the goals of the application. In this respect KAPPA-PC is very useful, because it integrates five key technologies: Object-oriented development. High level descriptive language. Hight performance rule systems. Graphical development and delivery. Database mapping. The result of this integration of process logic, existing data, and a graphical end-user interface is the solution wanted. That solution has been achieved much less painlessly than by using traditional methodologies. (original abstract)
