Opisane powyżej, najczęściej stosowane w praktyce sposoby zabezpieczenia kredytu kupieckiego mają wiele wad. Przede wszystkim nie zawsze są one skuteczne. Poza tym są czasochłonne i angażują dodatkowe koszty. Wydaje się, że najlepszym zabezpieczeniem są gwarancje bankowe, ale paradoksalnie ten sposób zabezpieczenia udzielany jest przez banki tylko bogatym przedsiębiorcom, których renoma i kapitał są wystarczającą gwarancją dla kontrahentów. Warto by się zastanowić, czy to właśnie Państwo, posiadające przywilej przymusu i moc ustawodawczą, nie powinno stworzyć instrumentów zabezpieczenia (gwarancji) obrotu gospodarczego, który we współczesnym świecie jest przecież siłą napędową jego koniunktury. Having excellent products offered at prices acceptable to customers in the firm's portfolio is not a sufficient factor guaranteeing the achievement of economic success in the Polish realities of a free market. Nor is the access to modern technologies a sufficient condition. It is necessary to arrange such an organisation of the whole system of sales, distribution, and collection of dues, so as to secure the running by the firm of its trading transactions in a As exemplified by Cereal Partners Poland Toruń-Pacific, manufacturer of breakfast cereal products, the way in which a firm may build an effective system of running securely the sales of its products is presented. The article introduces the issues related to the manufacture and distribution of food products in Poland (in this case the breakfast cereal flakes), in order to describe the mechanisms of preparing, running, and controlling the trading transactions, realized by the firm, basing on the legal possibilities and instruments arising from the currently binding regulations of the Polish law, regulating the business activity. The Author of this article has been the President of the company for many years, managing it since its privatisation i.e. since 1990. (original abstract)
