Abstrakty

W przypadku dynamicznie rozwijających się państw Azji trudno mówić o jednym obowiązującym powszechnie modelu gospodarki i polityki państwa. Każda z tych gospodarek ma specyficzne środowisko narodowe, które w pewnym stopniu determinowało podejmowane działania mikro- i makroekonomiczne. Istnieje jednak wspólny kontekst. Mowa tu o orientacji proeksportowej, akcentowaniu procesu rozwoju i doskonaleniu czynnika ludzkiego, polityce promowania rozwoju technologicznego, które to czynniki zadecydowały o wzroście międzynarodowej konkurencyjności tych państw. Nowadays, in the period of science-based economy development, gaining the sustainable competitive advantage by a nation requires the development of human capital and the technological base. Economic policy can be helpful with this respect if it is a progrowth and pro-innovative one. Asian "tigers" constitute a very dynamic group of the countries. The article shows their competitive position in the world and examines the role of the industrial policy, R+D policy, educational policy and FDI strategy in the process of their competitive evolution.
