Short-term Persistence of the Results Achieved by Common Stock Investment Funds Acting in the Polish Capital Market

Abstrakty
W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono wyniki analizy stóp zwrotu z akcyjnych funduszy inwestycyjnych działających na polskim rynku kapitałowym. Głównym celem przedstawionych badań było udzielenie odpowiedzi na pytanie: czy krótkookresowe relatywne wyniki inwestycyjne tych funduszy są powtarzalne, to znaczy, czy fundusze najlepsze (najgorsze) w pewnym okresie w przeszłości również w kolejnych okresach realizują stopy zwrotu plasujące je w czołówce (końcówce) listy wyników wszystkich funduszy. Udzielenie odpowiedzi na tak postawione pytanie powinno być interesujące dla szerokiego grona odbiorców. Niewątpliwie wiedza o persystencji (lub jej braku) wyników funduszy akcyjnych może być użyteczna dla osób lokujących oszczędności w jednostkach uczestnictwa tych funduszy. Ponadto temat ten jest interesujący również dla ekonomistów badających rynki finansowe, gdyż jest on blisko związany z niezwykle ważnymi zagadnieniami, takimi jak: efekt momentum na rynku akcji oraz hipoteza efektywności informacyjnej.
