Abstrakty

Stagnacja gospodarcza i finansowa w ostatnich latach nie wpłynęła negatywnie na wielkość rynku SRI na świecie. Wartość aktywów zarządzanych zgodnie z normami społeczno-etycznymi w Stanach Zjednoczonych wzrosła o ponad 13% z 2,7 biliona USD w 2007 r. do ponad 3 bilionów USD w 2010 r., przy negatywnych wskaźnikach wzrostu największych indeksów giełdowych, takich jak np. indeks S&P500. Liczba funduszy, które wykorzystują czynniki ESG w procesie inwestycyjnym wzrosła o 90% z 260 w 2007 r. do 493 w 2010 r. Również w Europie wzrosła liczba funduszy (abstrakt oryginalny)

Socially responsible investing is a relatively new but dynamically developing finan - cial market segment in the world. The SRI market global market value is estimated at 7.6 million euros, with a spectacular 87% growth in the assets managed by SRI funds in Europe 1 . In Poland the degree of development of the socially responsible investing market is still in the initial phase. Therefore, the major aim of the article is the presentation of the idea of socially responsible investing, its practical applica - tion and analysis results of profitability of a few SRI funds operating on the Polish capital market(original abstract)
