Abstrakty

Celem opracowania jest charakterystyka kosztów transportu i określenie ich roli w rozwoju procesu międzynarodowej fragmentaryzacji produkcji w trzech ośrodkach gospodarki światowej: Europie, Azji i Ameryce Północnej. Analizą objęto również główne determinanty kosztów transportu oraz metody ich pomiaru. (fragment tekstu)

This paper analyses the impact of transport costs on development of international fragmentation of production and trade. Transport costs are important determinants of export processing trade, which is a typical part of regional production network. When trade costs of intermediate inputs fall, different stages of the production process can take place in different places. (original abstract)
