The Influence of the Financial Sector on Economic Development

Abstrakty
It is now possible to establish empirically the correlations between the indices of financial developments and the economic growth and development. They appear to be of a bilateral nature, however. Thus there is no reason to accept without reserve the thesis that the financial development is a sufficient or even a necessary condition for emergence and dynamization of processes of economic growth and development. There are many non-economic and non-financial variables that are of importance for the level of savings. the rate of investment and the rate of economic growth. Without progress in constructing the models of economic growth and development as well as those of the financial systems, it will be difficult to understand the nature of causality between the financial and economic developments.
