The preliminary findings presented in this article only serve to point out the issue of usability and willingness to use electronic health records. Further research should be undertaken with respect to a larger population sample in order to create a comprehensive view of social attitudes towards the problem. A large number of respondents were young people who do not underestimate the significance of research, as by the time electronic health records are fully implemented in the Polish health system, these young people will have become rightful members of the society, enjoying the status of working population, and therefore they may be considered as the main users of these records. Nonetheless, the gathered findings show that electronic health records are awaited by the society because people are aware of the advantages. (original abstract)
