Efektywność rynku walutowego a kryzysy

Abstrakty
Celem pracy jest zweryfikowanie tezy, czy kryzysy walutowe w Polsce, Czechach i na Węgrzech przebiegały w ten sam sposób oraz czy wpłynęły na efektywność rynków walutowych. Napływ funduszy do krajów nowej akcesji spowodował w ostatnich latach bardzo silną aprecjację walut krajowych, co jak się wydaje pogorszyło efektywność rynków, skłaniając uczestników do obiektywnie (i zweryfikowanych ex post) ryzykownych zachowań - nadmiernego zaciągania kredytów w walutach obcych, korzystania z CIRS, wystawiania opcji call w celu pokrycia kosztów nabycia opcji put. W pierwszej części pracy dokonano przeglądu literatury dotyczącej kryzysów walutowych. W części drugiej, za pomocą indeksu presji rynkowej, zidentyfikowano okresy presji spekulacyjnej oraz nasilenie kryzysu w Polsce, Czechach i na Węgrzech oraz zbadano, czy po kryzys wpłynął na efektywność (słabą) rynku walutowego w tych trzech krajach.
