Abstrakty
W badaniach procesów strategicznych wciąż aktualne jest wyjaśnianie odwołujące się do dwóch lub więcej teorii czy też typów idealnych. Na przykład twierdzi się, że różne formy przedsiębiorczości organizacyjnej są powiązane z organizacyjnym uczeniem się, które prowadzi do wielorakiej wiedzy wykorzystywanej w nowych przedsięwzięciach dywersyfikujących działalność, innowacjach czy w czasie odnowy strategicznej. Podobnie, w ustawicznej zmianie przeplatają się różne fazy: 1) ewangelicznego promowania przedsiębiorczych idei, 2) autokratycznego wykorzystywania władzy do przekształcania nowych idei w praktykę zachowań - dyktowania praktyk zgodnych z planem, 3) utrwalania zmiany za pomocą struktur organizacyjnych i systemów działania, czyli wprowadzania rutyny, 4) tworzenia warunków do powiększania wiedzy specjalistycznej i poczucia mistrzostwa jako podłoża intuicyjnego generowania nowych idei. Trzymając się tego toku rozumowania można przypuszczać, że różne procesy strategicznego radzenia sobie z niepewnością wchodzą ze sobą we wzajemne interakcje i w ślad za tym tworzą wielorakie konfiguracje. In this paper, I explore the meaning and significance of management dynamism in uncertain strategic settings. I distinguish between volatility and ambiguity as aspects of uncertainty. I also combined these two dimensions to form 2x2 typology of organizational archetypes that incorporate strategic planning, organizational learning, organizational improvisation, and corporate entrepreneurship. Further, I reveal the complexity of corporate entrepreneurship dialectical dynamics, and, I hope, generate ideas for much new research in the broad strategic management field. (original abstract)
