The Impact of Organizations on the Functioning of the Internet

Abstrakty

The paper is composed of three parts. In the first, a short overview of the development of the Internet and the consequences from organizations' point of view connected with it is given. The second part forms the core of this paper. First, the five basic levels of the impact of organizations on the Internet are presented. Next, the characteristics of each of them are given along with examples from various industries and sectors. In the final part of the paper, the most significant conclusions and suggestions are offered. (original abstract)
