Relationships Between Talent Management and Organizational Strategy : Qualitative Research Results

Abstrakty
Zarządzanie talentami jest traktowane jako element zarządzania zasobami ludzkimi, a w literaturze często łączy się je z aspektami strategicznymi. Celem artykułu jest prezentacja omawianych w literaturze zależności pomiędzy strategią organizacji a zarządzaniem talentami oraz ich konfrontacja z wynikami badań empirycznych prowadzonych przy wykorzystaniu teorii ugruntowanej w 2011 i 2012 r. w siedmiu organizacjach w Polsce. Wyniki przeprowadzonych analiz pozwoliły na sformułowanie twierdzeń dotyczących zależności pomiędzy strategią organizacji a zarządzaniem talentami; w szczególności podkreślają one znaczenie dopasowania wewnętrznego i zewnętrznego zarządzania talentami, jego służebnej roli względem strategii organizacji i strategii zarządzania zasobami ludzkimi. Analizy sugerują także związek zarządzania talentami z wynikami organizacji, moderowany między innymi strategią organizacji. Artykuł kończą implikacje dla teorii i praktyki kształtowania zarządzania talentami w organizacjach. (abstrakt oryginalny)
Talent management is commonly treated as an element of human resource management, and literature analysis suggests links between talent management and organizational strategy. The main aim of the paper is presentation of relationships between organizational strategy and talent management and its confrontation with empirical research results carried out in 2011 and 2012 in seven Polish companies. The research was carried out according to grounded theory assumptions. Research results allow for formulation of propositions related to relationships between organizational strategy and talent management. Research results reveal the issue of talent management internal and external fit, its subordination to organizational strategy and human resource management strategy. Analyses suggest relationship between talent management and organizational performance moderated by organizational strategy. The paper finishes with practical and theoretical implications of shaping talent management in organizations. (original abstract)
