Sprostanie wymogom zmiennego otoczenia, w tym nasilającej się konkurencji, wymaga odmiennego niż dotąd przewodzenia organizacją. Dotyczy to także przywódców działających w sektorze ekonomii społecznej, stojących przed wyzwaniem realizowania misji uwzględniającej zarówno cele społeczne, jak i ekonomiczne. Efektywne działanie przedsiębiorstw społecznych nie może więc mieć miejsca bez właściwego przywództwa, jako że sukces każdej organizacji zależy w dużej mierze od naczelnego kierownictwa. Wiele badań przeprowadzonych w trzecim sektorze jasno wskazuje, że dla sukcesu przedsiębiorstwa społecznego największe znaczenie ma silny lider, czyli właściwe przywództwo. Celem artykułu jest identyfikacja stylu przywództwa charakterystycznego dla przedsiębiorców społecznych. Prezentowane badania przeprowadzono wśród 141 zarządzających, a ich wyniki wskazują, że w polskich przedsiębiorstwach społecznych zdecydowanie dominuje styl zintegrowany. (abstrakt oryginalny)

The contemporary organizations, functioning in a turbulent environment, face the need to meet many complex requirements, which demands different way of managing an organization. This also applies to leaders in the non profit sector, who face the challenge of realizing both economic and social mission. Therefore, in order to operate effectively, social enterprise are in the need of proper leadership, as the success of any organization depends largely on the senior management. Many researches conducted in the third sector clearly shows, that the strong leadership is crucial to the success of social enterprises. Hence, the objective of this paper is to identify the leadership style characteristic for social enterprises. As in Poland to date operate 832 of such entities, the empirical research presented has been conducted among 141 executives. Presented research results shows, that in polish social enterprises prevailing leadership style, in an integrated one. (original abstract)
