Abstrakty

W artykule zaprezentowano wstępne wyniki analiz prowadzonych w ramach projektu badawczego dotyczącego ekologicznej roli odłogowania gruntów rolnych w otoczeniu parków krajobrazowych województwa łódzkiego. Przedstawiono ogólne cele projektu, wybrane trudności metodyczne związane z identyfikacją odłogów oraz cząstkowe rezultaty inwentaryzacji odłogów w dwóch z siedmiu analizowanych parków: w Parku Krajobrazowym Wzniesień Łódzkich i Bolimowskim Parku Krajobrazowym oraz w ich sąsiedztwie. Wyniki wskazują na zróżnicowanie procesu odłogowania w analizowanych obszarach. Ocena rozmieszczenia i intensywności zjawiska odłogowania w otoczeniu parków krajobrazowych jest częścią badań tła krajobrazowego obszarów chronionych i jego roli w strukturze ekologicznej regionu.(abstrakt oryginalny)

The paper presents partial results of the ongoing study of farmland abandonment in and near protected areas (landscape parks) in the Łódzkie Voievodship (central Poland). The goal of this project is to provide field-verified information:
1. What is the spatial distribution of abandoned agricultural land in the Łódzkie Voivodship? How is it related to biophysical features of the study area?
2. What are the botanical characteristics of spontaneous vegetation succession in the abandoned agricultural lands? What are their environmental determinants?
3. How do the abandoned lands correspond to existing protected areas? How could they influence the functioning of the protected areas and be used to strengthen the ecological landscape structure of central Poland?
The paper summarizes the general study approach and describes some methodological difficulties. It also presents preliminary results of the survey of the spatial distribution of abandoned farmland in the vicinity of two, out of seven, protected areas (landscape parks) and discusses the role of the surroundings of protected areas on their functioning.
