Abstrakty
W artykule omówiono marksowską teorię rozwoju społecznego oraz funkcjonalną teorię rozwoju. Na koniec przedstawiono próbę oceny koncepcji Parsonsa.
In the countries of the Council for Mutual Economic Aid the conception of Marx was presented contrary to the facts so as to justify the current policy based on an authoritarian - military system having nothing to do with the theory and ideas of that philosopher. For example, Marx never mentioned the necessity of nationalization of production goods in the society to come. Whereas in the authoritarian- military system created by Lenin and Stalin not only the means of production but also the whole society were nationalized and the usurpatory authorities imagined that they had a right to decide what was in accordance with social interest, which could not be reconciled with the conception of Marx. Though that conception included certain Utopian notes, nevertheless the freedom and possibility of developinman's personality were its integral elements. The Parsons's theory of development has been presented in empirical terms. In line, it is not contrary to the basic assumptions of Marx, but it is different regarding the way of approaching a social system within a given society. (original abstract)
