Abstrakty

W artykule przedstawiono korelację pomiędzy wydatkami na opiekę zdrowotną na osobę w $, wydatkami na administrację ochrony zdrowia i ubezpieczeń w $ per capita a wskaźnikami zdrowotnymi. W pierwszej części zawarto przegląd literatury dotyczący badań nad związkiem wydatków na zdrowie a wskaźnikami zdrowotnymi. Jest to jedna z wielu prób badania efektywności wydatkowania środków na opiekę zdrowotną. Z analizy danych statystycznych wynika, że istnieje silna ujemna korelacja pomiędzy wydatkami a wskaźnikiem zgonów oraz wskaźnikiem śmiertelności niemowląt, a także dodatnia korelacja pomiędzy wydatkami a przewidywaną długością życia, silniejsza w wielu przypadkach dla mężczyzn niż dla kobiet. This paper presents the correlation between expenditure on health care per capita in $, expenditure on health administration and health insurance in $, per capita and health outcomes. The first section presents an overview of the literature for research on health expenditures and health indicators. This is one of many attempts to study the effectiveness of expenditure on health care. The analysis of the data shows that there is a strong negative correlation between expenditure and deaths rate and infant mortality rate, and a positive correlation between expenditure and life expectancy is stronger in many countries for men than for women.
