The article focuses on the examination of the differences between women and men with respect to the manner and extent of the use of mobile tools in the buying process. A survey of 79 respondents has demonstrated that there are differences between the genders in the acceptance of new technology and the scope of use of mobile devices. Moderating variables, such as age, education and income levels do not eliminate these differences. (original abstract)
