Techniki inteligentne w modelowaniu bankructw firm

Abstrakty
Traktując problem bankructwa jako stan, przed którym można się uchronić, jeśli zastosuje się jakieś środki zaradcze w stanie zagrożenia upadłością lub jako miernik kondycji firmy (np. przy udzielaniu kredytu, fuzji firm, wyborze lokaty lub dostawcy), nadaje się mu status problemu badawczego. Próbuje się wówczas odgadnąć różne poziomy stanu zagrożenia nadając im miarę odległości czasowej do bankructwa lub oceny kondycji firmy. Nie wdając się w ustawodawstwa różnych krajów szczegółowo definiujących stan bankructwa można przyjąć, że bankructwo jest niemożnością pokrycia zobowiązań swoimi aktywami lub koniecznością poniesienia wydatków przewyższających posiadane środki pieniężne. W modelowaniu bankructw znajdują zastosowanie dwie główne metody badawcze. Pierwsza to podejście logiczno-dedukcyjne, a druga empiryczno-dedukcyjne. U podstaw pierwszego leży teoria, która umożliwia wnioskowanie o bankructwie na podstawie bieżącej analizy sytuacji ekonomicznej firmy. Mimo kilku prób, nie udało się dotąd opracować ogólnie akceptowalnej teorii bankructwa, stąd każdy empiryczny wynik należy ocenić w odniesieniu do jego własnych miar. Drugie podejście, empiryczno-dedukcyjne, polega na analizie zgromadzonych danych o firmach bankrutach i niebankrutach. W tym obszarze ze względu na zastosowane techniki mówi się o modelach statystycznych i modelach sztucznej inteligencji. (fragment tekstu)
