Abstrakty

W niniejszym artykule omówiono systematyzację sieci osadniczej Makroregionu Południowo-Wschodniego. Przedstawiono uzasadnienie preferencji dla wybranych jednostek sieci osadniczej.

The main objective of the future spatial policies lies in a reasonable system of settlement organization, wherein large cities and main provincial centres constitute its essential nuclei. In the coherent and well stratified model of settlement of the South-Eastern Macroregion, there have been selected organizational units of multifunctional and specific character to play nationwide, regional and local roles. Also there have been defined both, the capacities for development of material and human character and its limitations in the field of essential and specific functions. During the period in question, there are envisaged on the one hand measures to curb the population growth of cities, which should stimulate improvements in living conditions, and a facilitation of town development on the other, to be achieved through the development of agricultural services, craftsmanship and small enterprise.
