This article presents concept of sustainable development on the real estate market which is very important because of substantial influence on economic, social and cultural aspects of peoples' lives. In micro scale sustainable development on the property market is determined by social responsible investments and can be analyzed using the following set of sustainability criteria for the property: 1) energy efficiency, 2) climate control, 3) pollutants, 4) waste and water, 5) adaptability and accessibility, 7) occupier, 8) contextual fit. In macro scale sustainable development on the property market means concentration on saving of natural resources, consistency in using earlier accepted methodology in decision making process related to investment and ethical aspects of these decisions.
